Rugeley Rifle Club

Rugeley Rifle Club Rugeley is one of the most successful Rifle & Pistol Clubs in the Midlands as well as the UK.

Since 1879, Rugeley Rifle Club has promoted the Olympic sport of Target Rifle. In addition to the classic Prone and Three-Position rifle disciplines, the club now offers most Olympic rifle and pistol disciplines including 10-Metre Air Rifle, Air Pistol and Long-Arm Pistol. With it's own range, Rugeley offers members a full fourteen indoor 25-yard points, as well as outdoor ranges to 50-metres and 100-yards, and a dedicated indoor 10-metre air range.

Just letting our public know that we have now halted our Have-a-go sessions until September.
This is so that our hard worked instructors can have some time off for the holidays. As well as attending the national comps at Bisley and our Youth Shooting Camp in August (watch this space).
If you’re interested in coming for a Have-a-go (4sessions covering air pistol, air rifle, .22rimfire rifle on bench rest and prone supported)
Please drop us a text in August and we’ll put you on a waiting list.
Also we run guest nights and birthday events for groups so please contact for more details.

Dreaming of a chance to represent GB?

21 or under and want to try out?

Enter the GB Drew Postal Trials and test your skills against your peers today!

The GB Drew is an international smallbore prone rifle competition organised by the NSRA for athletes aged 21 or under and is comprised of 3 teams: the Mixed Junior Team of 10, Junior Men Team of 3 and Junior Women Team of 3.

Athletes must be British citizens to be eligible, but you do not need to be an NSRA member to enter.

This competition is a postal trial that ends mid-July, with the teams being chosen for the GB Drew Team from the leading competitors of the postal trial.

The GB Drew Team usually shoot the match within a one-week period in August / September either on their home range or another suitable range.
