🪩Dance exams are extremely important for multiple reasons, whilst our showcases and performances give our dancers opportunities to show off their skills and passion, exams are a chance for them to grow and develop their performance!💃🏻🪩

⚡️OUR BROAD AGE RANGE!
Our classes are open to everybody from 2.5 all the way up to 80 years old! We have beginner friendly classes for those who are new to dance as well as intermediate groups that are perfect for somebody who has danced before!👏

📑QUALIFIED + EXPERIENCED TEACHERS! This means that all staff members who teach our dancers hold qualifications that allow them to TEACH as well as dance! Teaching dance is a different skill and we ensure all of our dancers receive the BEST sessions! All staff are DBS checked, Safeguarding trained AND First Aid trained!⛑️📄

🧑🏻‍🩰TECHNIQUE AND CONFIDENCE!
Whilst dance is the heart of everything we do here, it is important to us that dancers learn how to move SAFELY! All of our sessions include technical development to ensure learners understand HOW to dance!

Confidence is a skill developed at the studio that is transferable across life, this is why anybody who enters AJ is met with support and encouragement!🤩💪

🏆PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES!
We pride ourselves on giving our dancers the opportunity to show off their skills, we hold TWO annual showcases where dancers can thrive on stage!🔥 Our ITT Teams have the opportunity to perform around the country, their recent performances include:

🗼The Blackpool Tower Ballroom!
🏫The International Convention Centre!

With their next performance being at His Majesty’s Theatre, London West End!

📣🔥💃🏻NEW CLASS ALERT💃🏻🔥📣

🔹MIDAXI CONTEMPORARY is designed to be a transition from our Midi Contemporary-just before the big jump to high school, this class is open to dancers in Year 6 upwards⚡️

🏆With the small 11-13 age range, these classes can be specifically designed for the specific dancers in this group, this means dancers will be able to progress at their own pace and can focus on some particular technical aspects!💪

🎉We are so excited for this new class! It offers, performance opportunities, performing in our TWO ANNUAL shows, graded examinations, for all dancers who would like to partake, and of course LOTS OF DANCING!💃🏻👏

🤩After many years of our MIDI URBAN class being full, we have taken the step and started a SECOND SESSION! Taking place on a Wednesday evening, this class brings it all, confidence, performance and of course… DANCE!💃🏻💪

💫We are so excited for this new class! With the small age range of 8-10 the classes will be designed specifically for our dancers to encourage the absolute BEST out of them!🔥

👞Our MIDI TAP session has got some availability for more dancers! Our tap sessions offer exciting classes, using modern songs to keep our dancers engaged! Our MIDI TAP sessions are designed especially for ages 8-10!🎉

🥰DON’T WORRY! We also have spaces available in both our MIDI CONTEMPORARY and MIDI JAZZ classes!

💃🏻🔥💫OUR FIRST WEEK BACK💫🔥💃🏻

🤩WOW! Our first week back has been incredible! So much energy, passion and excitement from all of our dancers! We can really tell how much they’ve missed dancing!🥰👏

💪We’re back to working hard on our technique, learning new moves and getting ready for our 2026 Christmas cabaret!🎅

Some groups have started their new dances and they are looking INCREDIBLE already!! Let the cabaret preperations commence!⚡️
