It’s a busy weekend for our Club Members as we have 10 taking on the Tour of Epynt across 7 cars
First at car 4 is Ian Allsop, who’s on the notes for Damian Cole in the Citroen C3 Rally2. The pair make the switch back to the Citroen after taking on the Nicky Grist Stages in an Es**rt 2 weeks ago. Their last outing on Epynt came back on Mays Dixies Challenge, which they won by just 2 seconds.
Next at car 26 is the Peugeot 208 Rally4 of Chris Woodhouse and Lucy Wilding. Chris has the car back in Tarmac trim after performing 0 car duties on the Nicky Grist. The pairs last competitive outing was at the Dukeries Rally, where they finished 21st Overall and 2nd in Class. They’ll be hoping for a good run this weekend having previously scored a top 10 over the Epynt Ranges.
Neil Matthews is at car 51 for his first outing of 2026 in his Proton Satria. He’s joined by Phill Sandham this weekend. Neil has one previous start on Epynt, bringing the Satria home in 15th Overall on the 2023 Dixies Challenge.
Martin Gibson is next at car 55 in his BMW 130i. Martin’s taking on the Epynt Ranges for the first time after 3 seasons of Circuit Rallies. He’s joined by Abi Summerfield once again. The pairs last outing came on the SMC Stages at Anglesey, where they finished 19th Overall.
Car 61 is the BMW M3 of Andy Brinkley and Helena Mayall. The pair come into the Rally off the back of a 15th Overall finish on the Abingdon Carnival Stages. Their last start on Epynt came on the 2025 Mewla, where they took 3rd in Class.
Jason Evans is in car 83 this weekend, He’s joined in the 205 by Karen Phelps. Jason took on last weekend Merlin Stages at Pembrey alongside his Daughter on her first event. They finished 40th Overall after a broken Ball Joint early on. Jasons last event on Epynt was this years Dixies Challenge, where he and Karen finished in 28th Overall.
Our final Quinton crew in action are Owen Cule and Matt Walk in the Mini. They’re chasing Welsh Championship points this weekend after picking up maximum class points last time out at Anglesey. Their last start on Epynt came on the 2025 Dixies Challenge, where they finished 2nd of the R50 Mini crews. They’re car 93
