Wander round the largest market square in Yorkshire and enjoy the calmness and peace reminiscent of days gone by. But don’t be deceived by the calm atmosphere – we are a buzzing and lively community and there is always something to do and see. Spend some time with us and you will soon come to appreciate the lively lifestyle and beautiful countryside that is waiting to be discovered! Our Community Office is the old Police House off the Market Square and is home to Mashamshire Community Library and the Masham Flock Gallery where local artists display and sell their work. Our wonderful volunteers are local and have a wealth of knowledge about the area and attractions.

Swinton Park Hotel opened its mile-long illuminated trail Luminescence on Saturday (October 31), and we can confirm after visiting that it’s spectacular.

The 17-acre wooded lakeside gardens are decked out in creative displays, including ones with 100 lit-up birdcages, an Oscars-themed red carpet walk and hanging moons that are remarkably realistic.

Expected to air this December - the BBC’s adaptation of The Running Grave (Season 7).

While the bulk of production moved to the main book settings in Norfolk (including Cromer and Norwich), the production schedule also incorporated returns to Robin's home territory of Masham to film her family dynamics.

**The Running Grave Brings Strike and Robin Back**

Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger return as Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott in *The Running Grave*, a five-episode adaptation of Robert Galbraith’s bestselling crime novel. The private detectives take on a challenging case involving a secretive organisation and disturbing hidden motives.

Robin goes undercover inside an isolated religious group, putting herself at risk to uncover its closely guarded secrets. Meanwhile, Strike follows leads and gathers evidence from outside.

As the investigation grows more dangerous, both detectives face difficult decisions that test their judgement and professional partnership. Their trust in one another becomes increasingly important as the case unfolds.

Blending detective work with psychological tension, the adaptation explores secrecy and manipulation. Are you looking forward to seeing Strike and Robin tackle this mystery?
