The Yorkshire Federation GC Doubles Competition played at York CC. We had two pairs representing us. Katie and Robert and Jane and Sue. Our two pairs had to battle with some quite tough opposition over seven rounds on a hot day.
We didn't win any medals but Katy and Rob won three of their games. A great performance against some tough opposition.
In fact both pairs deserve congratulations for stepping up and representing RSCC 👏

The Club's Advantage Doubles was played on Tuesday 2nd June. Five pairs took part in an all play all format, ably managed by Sue, from which Jane and Sue emerged the winners, narrowly beating last year's winners Liz and Michael. A great day's croquet. Thankyou to all who took part.

On Tuesday 26th May we hosted Pendle and Craven in a Friendly Match. This is the first time we have played Pendle in a Friendly. The day was blessed with wall to wall sunshine and although Ripon lost (not by much) it was an enjoyable day's croquet. Apart from the croquet, it was good to see some old friends and to meet up with some new ones. We look forward to the return fixture at Pendle.

Meanwhile Fylde were away playing Bury Caesars. We didn't win but wow what a stunning photo! Betty in play and Anne sitting comfortably in the sun.

Liz and Michael continue to look after our lawns to good effect. However using the roller was a new one for them, adding another string to their bow!
