NEW COACH ANNOUNCEMENT ⚽️
We’re delighted to welcome Sam Lord to CH Tech Coaching as one of our new Assistant Coaches.
Sam was part of the Plymouth Argyle Academy as a player through to U18 level, giving him valuable knowledge and a real understanding of the journey many of our young players are currently experiencing.
Much like Toby, who has been thriving since joining us, Sam brings a young player’s perspective alongside a genuine desire to learn, develop and grow as a coach and already has been earning his coaching badges and currently holds his UEFA C.
Charlie said:
“I’ve been really impressed by Sam’s attitude, the way he engages with the children and how naturally he relates to them but also has some amazing game and technical detail from his experiences which are hard to develop and learn in coaches who have not had the experiences he has a such a young age.
He has lots of potential and a real desire to improve as a coach. He’s joining an already strong and experienced coaching team, and I’m excited to support his development with us.”
We’re continuing to build a fantastic coaching structure, combining our experienced lead coaches with ambitious young coaches who understand the modern player pathway.
