πŸ† COUNTY CHAMPIONS! πŸ†

A huge congratulations to our Borough girls who helped Cornwall Women secure the Gill Burns County Championship Division 2 title, defeating Durham 46-27 at Twickenham! πŸ’›πŸ–€

We couldn’t be prouder of these four. They represented not only their county, but also Penryn Ladies with passion, determination and class throughout the campaign.

πŸ’₯ Rosie Ninnis put in a huge shift, making big carries and dominant hits all over the park.

🎯 Georgia Hall was outstanding in defence with some huge tackles, showed great decision making throughout, and added 2 conversions from the tee.

⚑ Abby Masquelier crossed the whitewash twice with two cracking tries, capping off a brilliant performance on the biggest stage.

πŸ‘ Heather Holmes has been a great part of Cornwall’s journey to the title, showing incredible dedication, commitment and passion throughout the campaign. A fantastic reward for all the hard work she has put in this season.

To pull on the black and gold is a fantastic achievement. To bring home the trophy makes it even more special.

Congratulations girls, everyone at Penryn RFC is incredibly proud of you. Enjoy every moment and wear those medals with pride! πŸ†πŸ’›πŸ–€

A huge well done to all of our Minis for the effort, commitment and progress shown throughout the year. It’s been brilliant to watch confidence grow, skills improve and the love for rugby shine through every Sunday.

Thank you as well to all of our coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters who make it all possible week in, week out. Grassroots rugby simply doesn’t happen without you.

A massive thank you to Nick Wood and his team at Prenn Landscapes & Tree Services for safely felling the diseased trees by our pitches and chipping the branches to keep our grounds looking good.

They’ve done an amazing job and we are really pleased to have them working with us to keep all our players and supporters safe.

We will be planting replacement trees and hedges in the Autumn as part of our initiative to be a greener and more environmentally friendly club.
