🏉 BREAKING NEWS !!!! : Halifax RUFC have found the leaked plan for how league structures are created.

After months of extensive research, consultation and analysis, and a private eye we’ve managed to obtain the official RFU assembly instructions for Counties 3 Yorkshire .

The process :

🎩 Put all clubs in a hat
🌍 Ignore geography
⛽ Ignore fuel costs
🗺️ Ignore common sense
📢 Press “announce”

To be fair, we’re just pleased nobody ended up in Cornwall although there’s time yet !

Looking forward to renewing old rivalries, making new ones, and watching Sat Nav recalculate itself into retirement.

🏆 COUNTY CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our Borough girls who helped Cornwall Women secure the Gill Burns County Championship Division 2 title, defeating Durham 46-27 at Twickenham! 💛🖤

We couldn’t be prouder of these four. They represented not only their county, but also Penryn Ladies with passion, determination and class throughout the campaign.

💥 Rosie Ninnis put in a huge shift, making big carries and dominant hits all over the park.

🎯 Georgia Hall was outstanding in defence with some huge tackles, showed great decision making throughout, and added 2 conversions from the tee.

⚡ Abby Masquelier crossed the whitewash twice with two cracking tries, capping off a brilliant performance on the biggest stage.

👏 Heather Holmes has been a great part of Cornwall’s journey to the title, showing incredible dedication, commitment and passion throughout the campaign. A fantastic reward for all the hard work she has put in this season.

To pull on the black and gold is a fantastic achievement. To bring home the trophy makes it even more special.

Congratulations girls, everyone at Penryn RFC is incredibly proud of you. Enjoy every moment and wear those medals with pride! 🏆💛🖤

Rosie Ninnis, Georgia Hall and Abby Masquelier are all due to make an impact off the bench. And also a shout out to Heather Holmes who has also been a part of the Cornwall women’s campaign.

A huge congratulations to Georgia Hall (19), Abby Masquelier (23) and Rosie Ninnis (22), who have all been selected for the final match-day squad as Cornwall take to the famous turf at Twickenham Stadium.

A massive achievement for all three and everyone at Penryn RFC is incredibly proud. Go well ladies, enjoy every moment and do Cornwall and the Borough proud. 💪
