🎃 Happy Halloween guys! What a day for a game. The lads have been ironing out their short corner routines for tomorrow’s game. They are ready to spook the opposition🎃 👻feel free to support the men in Truro tomorrow at 3:30pm. The more the scarier (for them). If you guys caught the last reel we released. You will have seen exactly why Harvey was our MOM last week. A clean sheet (again), with a huge battle in the 50th minute whereby their youngest player, Zach was through on goal. Mr Heap politely declined concession securing us the tight victory of 17-0. With nightclubs reopening there has been a massive increase in spiking across the UK especially among women. No one should feel unsafe about being spiked when going out, things have to change.

We urge nightclubs across the country to impose tougher security and safety precautions. As a result CSM Hockey stand in full support of and the nightclub boycott this Wednesday (27th of October). We stand with and all organisations raising awareness for this horrific trend going on

Hats off to the boys for keeping it simple and doing what we do best. Live and breath hockey expertise. With 17 goals, we all got our fair share, even Will Owen storming forward to assist his strikers. Harvey had to make one save so it was imperative he got his sports massage in the changing rooms afterwards. Didn’t want him seizing up. On to the next match chaps.

This Saturday is our 2nd friendly match of the season. The boys are excited and we are playing some new players which we can’t wait to see. Players meet at 1:30 and PB is 14:15. We love playing Penzance every season. We always have a good challenge. Now, let’s show them what we have been doing to every opposition this season.

Congratulations on another victory boys. Not the cleanest match we have played racking up 4 cards. We live and learn. As Shiv Khera wisely once said, “positive action combined with positive thinking, combined with 2 yellows and 2 greens results in success”.

We look forward to next weeks game where the boys will be playing more clinical hockey. There may be some special guests making an appearance.

After the beautiful performance last weekend, we now face Bude, one place below us in the league. The gents have been working tirelessly this week (mainly on ironing out the twin’s shin splints ). We will be driving last week’s clean sheet to Bude this weekend for an afternoon pushback.
