The 2026 Touro jersey is a one-off - to commemorate the Tour de France coming to the Scottish Borders in 2027. Special design, special price, special edition of the event.

Le Touro will be celebrating the Tour de France Grand Depart 2027 – Stage 1 will be mostly raced in the Scottish Borders after a start in Edinburgh. We’re more than un peu excited about it, so the new jersey is part of our special ‘Auld Alliance’ edition.

The Wee Touro is back! Or should that be the ‘Oui’ Touro since this year is our special Auld Alliance edition, celebrating the Tour de France coming chez nous next year.
o Start/finish at Touro Event HQ, Peebles, Saturday 5 September, 2026
o FREE to enter, novice-friendly 30km ride on multi-use paths and quiet roads.
o All bikes welcome including e-bikes, tricycles etc
o Perfect for people riding in their first cycling event, with no tough climbs or pressures of time.
o All ages welcome to ride as much (or as little) of the course as they wish.
o Free food stop half way round.

Hope you had a great day on Sunday - now here’s something to keep you spinning all summer - £10 off entry to Tour O The Borders, the final closed road sportive of the season. Peebles Sunday 6 September; 120km or 88km of the finest Scottish road cycling and scenery. “A connoisseur’s route”, as it’s often described.
Just email us some evidence (before the end of May) that you entered Etape Caledonia or Etape Loch Ness and we’ll send you a code for the £10 discount. It can be a screenshot of your entry, or finish result, or anything else which shows your name as a participant. Please email [email protected].

Congratulations to everyone who rode the legendary Etape Loch Ness yesterday - we hope you’re enjoying a well-earned rest today! And best of luck to all of you riding the fabulous Etape Caledonia 2026 at the end of next week.

Whether you’re doing one or both of the Scottish Spring closed road sportives, don’t forget to put Sunday 6 September in your diary too, for a stunning car-free season finale here in Scotland’s undiscovered cycling heaven. (Er, the Tour de France knows about it now too btw – Ed.)
