Having been struggling with comfort on longer rides and having been a good long while since I'd had a fit, I decided to have a proper bike fit and see what has changed and what can be done to improve my comfort on the bike.... enter Patrick Lamont of the Bike Fitters.
I can't thank Patrick enough for doing such a thorough job and being so professional. A full fit included having a full history taken, my feet measured, my flexibility measured, my pelvis measured and then a lot of time doing all the tweaks from saddle to cleats. Not once did Patrick make me feel uncomfortable and he was open to any ideas or suggestions I had. We worked through everything and so if you're thinking of a bike fit then I can personally recommend him.
He will travel to your home so it makes it super easy to get it set up.

Countdown has started.... Our time in Peebles is drawing to a close and in 8 weeks time we'll be closing our doors for good. The next stage of our adventures is taking us overseas. So get in and grab a bargain.

We are thrilled to announce that Tweed Valley Words, our new literary trail supported by Destination Tweed UK's Community Grants Scheme (made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund) will launch in July.

Thanks to National Lottery players, the new trail will open the door to visitors far and wide to come and discover the area's rich literary heritage.

From Buchan and Burns, to O. Douglas, the Wordsworths (Dorothy and William) as well as of course Scott, the Tweed Valley has inspired some of our greatest writers – along with a few lesser-known treasures.

We can't wait to celebrate them all. ❤️📕
