I’m Ceza, the founder of Warrior In Training Pilates Studio in Paisley. I help women feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies through expert-led Pilates, in-person, online and on-demand.

If you have back pain you absolutely can join a Pilates class. Make sure to let me know beforehand that you have back pain, so I can give you modifications or alternatives.

You will find that over time Pilates is easing your back pain and you can do more in class, which is ultimately what we want, to get rid of the back pain.

Pilates is so much more than just flexibility or just core strength.

It is about body awareness.

When you understand your body, where the weaknesses are, where the strengths are, where the imbalances are, then you can create real change.

That's what Pilates does. It makes you be able to do the things you want to do in your life.

It keeps your body fitter and healthier, so you aren't impacted by aches and pains.

So excited that reformer classes are starting tomorrow.

Classes small, only 4, so you get the most out of the class and more personalisation.

Still one space left for tomorrow's class at 5.30pm.

It doesn't matter if you are the least fit person in class. What matters is showing up and making a difference in your body.

Everyone is too busy focusing on their own body.

Everyone is at a different fitness level.

Everyone has different issues with their body.

Everyone is very welcoming.

There's no judgement.

You start where you are at.

Fixing back pain is more than just simple stretches.

It requires strengthening of the core as well as the whole body, increasing overall flexiblity, improving mobility and aligning the body so there is balance and all the muscles can work in the way they were meant to.

Over time this will ease back pain and even get rid of it completely (especially if you continue doing Pilates 😉).

It's normal to feel a bit nervous attending your first class. You don't know what it is going to be like, you don't know the instructor, what the other participants are like.

Sometimes even I feel nervous teaching new people. But that's ok.

Nerves are a part of trying something new.

What matters is showing up, because if you don't, you'll never know what it is like.

And you always have the choice to hide in the back or join online.
