Well, after a wet night the skies cleared and the sun came out and so we dashed onto the 🌈 Trail for one last time before our changeover week. Herdy Girdy and Custard watched avidly. And the rain held off until the last exercise was done and we just had packed away!

ALL RECORDS SMASHED!

Our best month EVER in Sept 2026 for older and clinically vulnerable adult exercise classes since we started keeping detailed records in 2014: 100 classes delivered, 1,914 visits made from 450 folks and we welcomed 18 new exercisers across a range of seated/active classes.

We are very full and in huge demand from self, GP and other community referral and so please bear with us if you have applied to come. As any of our 670 weekly spaces free up we are getting through our waitlist as quickly as we possibly can.

Couldn't do this without a wonderfully dedicated and professional team, including over 350 hrs of volunteer time this month alone to make it all happen.

A huge thank you to Julie Christie from our Rutland Open Water Performance Swim Club, who raised money for our older and vulnerable adult classes by swimming Dock to Dock so that we could buy 4 more Blazepods to keep everyone on their toes (and finger tips!).

Fun in the sun today!

We have 670 places a week for our older adult classes across 25 varied classes and we are 99% full!

Demand from personal and GP referrals is huge and so we will be continuing to triage but will probably need to delay new starters until after our mid October break whilst we figure out how many more spaces we can offer.

Bear with us - we will help everyone we absolutely can to get/remain fit, active, connected to community and happy.

A beautiful evening to end our open water swimming season. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us throughout 2026.

I’ll see some of you a week on Friday for the Vitruvian practice swim and if you’re swimming the night swim this weekend with Pacesetter Events have a brilliant time.
