Junior open report on Yachts and yachting website

The Notts County sailing Club Youth and Junior Open took place on 5th Sept there was a good turnout of talented individuals, including two Hansa dinghies, Toppers, an RS400 and ILCA. It was notable how the standard of sailing and racing has improved.

Update after day 2 Duncan is 7th overall and first Brit after the first day at iqfoil (Olympic class) worlds good luck Duncan. Duncan started at Notts County and is sailing under our flag. This longer video explains how he started at the club.

Aero and Solo Open this Saturday at Notts County Sailing Club. Visitors welcome. Food breakfast and lunch. Entry available on the day, but ideally pre enter.

Ross Ryan our Treasurer gave a very interesting talk about his experience on leg 7 of the Clipper round the world race at the club yesterday evening. around 35 came to the evening and enjoyed Ross's talk and a light buffet (by Kathryn and team) afterwards (and possibly the odd drink). After a break Ross talked about TOG.
