Why book a Scrum Safety session?

This specialist scrum session focuses on foot positioning, body shape, binding, timing and moving efficiently from set-up to scrum profile with minimal adjustments.

Designed to help young players develop safe, effective scrummaging habits, this session reinforces a simple principle: good technique leads to safe play and safe play leads to powerful play.

Happy Father’s Day!
Rugby teaches plenty of life lessons, but some of the biggest come from the people who got us started.

From starting my rugby journey with my own dad, to having my children grow up watching from the sidelines and sharing in my rugby journey to now watching them and supporting them in their rugby journey, this reel is a reminder of how the love of the game and family is passed down through generations.

From son, to player, to dad.

Wishing all the amazing dads, grandads and father figures a fantastic Father’s Day.

In this Mixed Backs Skills Session, we focused on manipulating the defender, passing technique, long passing, kicking technique, cross-field kicks and decision-making.

It’s important that players first develop sound passing technique before focusing on power and distance. Good technique creates consistency, and with consistency comes greater accuracy and confidence under pressure.

A great session with plenty of learning and development on display throughout.

Well done to Annie for being our Player of the Session. Outstanding skills shown throughout and a brilliant attitude from start to finish.

As players move through the age grades, the laws of the game gradually introduce new elements to the scrum. With each step comes greater technical demand, making it essential that players understand not only what to do, but how to do it safely and effectively.

Good scrum technique isn't about size alone. It involves body position, stability, balance, timing and understanding how to generate force safely. Learning these fundamentals early helps players develop confidence, perform better and reduce the risk of injury.

Our Scrum Safety sessions are designed specifically for players aged 11–14, focusing on:
🏉 Safe body positioning
🏉 Strong and stable scrum posture
🏉 Correct binding techniques
🏉 Core strength and body control

Small group coaching allows every player to receive individual feedback and dedicated coaching time, ensuring good habits are developed from the start.

The Players Who Improve Most Don't Wait For Pre-Season.

The summer months offer the best environment for learning and improvement. With no weekly match pressure and better training conditions, players can focus on developing the technical skills that separate good players from great ones. Smaller group sizes also allow for more individual coaching time, giving each player personalised feedback and greater opportunity to refine their technique.

Our summer coaching programme is designed to help players improve their core skills, game awareness and position-specific techniques so they return to their clubs ready to compete at a higher level.

The work put in now pays off when the season begins.

Core Skills Session
A fantastic session focusing on evasion, catch and pass skills and effective running lines.

The energy and enthusiasm from the boys were outstanding throughout and it was great to see their communication develop as the session progressed. Most importantly, they challenged themselves, supported their teammates and had plenty of fun while learning.

Building confidence, developing core rugby skills and creating a positive environment is the for every core skills session. 💪🏉

Well done to Seth for demonstrating good communication and great rugby skills!
