Here's my review about the Enlightenment Intensive Retreat that I just went on in the Spirit Horse Valley in Mid-Wales.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredibly effective meditation in a beautiful wild valley, full of raw nature.

I have been meditating since 2010, specifically Vipassana since 2015 and for me this was completely different.

I have never experienced such deep, fresh and persistent direct experiences before and I will be continuing this practice from now on.

I went on the May23 Enlightenment Intensive at Spirit Horse. It was my first time on an E.I and my first time at Spirit Horse. I highly recommend both individually and recommend them even more together.

The EI was 3 days of intensive and then 2.5 days of less formal yet still structured integration (including meditation and other practices).

The technique is simple, direct and very effective.

You sit in pairs with your eyes open (partners change each sitting) and they ask you a question. You have 5 mins to enquire about what the question brings up. You verbally share your progress with your partner and then you switch roles.

In between the 40 minute sessions there is plenty of time in nature (of which this valley has a raw abundance of) and the food is fantastic too.

Compared to individual meditation this really held me to focus and dramatically reduced the amount of time I have normally spent 'wandering' around my mind. Thus speeding up the process. 3 days is more than enough and there were still experiences occurring on the integration days as well, which I found was a great preparation for 'landing' back in my life.

I encourage everyone with a questioning mind to consider it.

A few words about the 5 day retreat I went on in May....

This is an incredibly powerful and liberating men's retreat that completely redefines what masculine potential really is.

I left feeling 'initiated' into a new form of manhood.

20 something men turned up on the first day, all bringing our own expectations and life experiences with us. Within the first few hours something incredible started to happen.

A uniquely safe space, outside the realm of our daily lives, opened up and over the course of 5 days we experienced and witnessed the inherent potential that exists within all of us.

I have never been part of anything like this. Furthermore, the brotherhood that was formed is still strong, still communicating and sharing on a level that I have never had in my life before.

Being able to communicate in this way, with other men, with absolutely no expectations, is having a profound effect on my life, my confidence, my vision for the future, and my relationships. In short, on everything.
