The 2026/27 season is here 🌹

We finally mark the beginning of Newark Roses Netball Club’s very first season competing in the Nottingham County League.

It feels like a huge moment for us. What started as an idea has quickly grown into two squads, a brilliant group of players and a club we are incredibly proud to be building together.

We have had so much support already from players, families, friends and everyone who has backed Roses from the beginning. Now the fixtures are out and we would love to have that same support behind us throughout our first season.

Both Roses Red and Roses White begin their season Saturday, 12th September, and we cannot wait to finally get started.

Here’s to our first season, plenty of netball and seeing what this group can achieve together.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen issues with our venue hire, we are no longer able to launch our coaching sessions in July as planned.

✨The good news is that the sessions will now be starting in early September.✨

The response to these sessions has been fantastic, with a high level of interest already. Places will be limited, so if you’d like to attend, please get in touch and register your interest as soon as possible so we can secure your place.

We sincerely apologise for the change of plans. Venue bookings are unfortunately outside of our control, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we get everything in place.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone and get started in September.

Preseason is officially underway 🌹

Tonight the squad completed their first testing session in the gym, marking the start of an exciting partnership with Code Fitness.

Alongside our weekly court sessions, every player will be following a structured gym programme focused on building strength, improving endurance and power, and reducing the risk of injury throughout the season.

A big season starts with the work no one sees.
