A massive congratulations to our very own Kelly Pugh

Kelly is celebrating in the biggest way possible, taking to the court to umpire the curtain-raiser game ahead of Nottingham Forest’s Super League fixture at the Motorpoint Arena. What a stage to be on! Nottingham Forest

For someone who is from Newark, this is a seriously big deal. To go from our courts at to officiating in front of a Super League crowd is no small feat, and Kelly has earned every bit of it. Her development as an umpire has been nothing short of amazing, and watching her rise has been a genuine privilege.

We couldn’t be prouder. Keep that whistle flying!

Getting it done outside of training.

Quick session on a squash court this morning for the coaches. Keeping standards high ahead of the new club. If you want to improve, it doesn’t just happen on training nights. Extra work, different environments, staying sharp.

That’s the level.

Two trials done and we couldn’t be happier with the turnout so far. The standard, the work rate, and the attitude from everyone has been exactly what we wanted to see.

Thank you to everyone who has attended and put the effort in. One more trial to go and we’re looking forward to it.

It’s clear there is real talent coming into Newark, and it shows this club was needed. Now the focus shifts to building something strong and starting to create those relationships on court.
