Why do girls quit sports? We could probably write a list as long as a netball court but we are on a mission to change that.

We provide a safe, well structure environment where we coach netball but also teach girls to be disciplined, respectful and how to be part of a team.

We grew up playing sports and being part of a team so we know the importance - we know what that experience taught us.

A busy weekend for Newark Netball Club continues…
Today it was our U12s stepping up for their penultimate fixture in the Two Counties League, taking on a strong Lincoln City side.

The first half was a brilliant battle — goal for goal, full of grit, teamwork and determination. In the second half, Lincoln began to pull away, taking the win 27–11, but our girls never stopped fighting for every ball.

Fair Player: Harper — outstanding effort and composure throughout.

Proud of this squad and the way they show up for each other every single week. One game left… let’s finish strong ❤️🖤

Our U15s and U13s headed to Clifton Nets in Nottingham this morning and they delivered.

🔥 U15s came in hot with a huge 27–4 win
⚡️ U13s fought to the final whistle for a gritty 13–13 draw

A huge squad performance today against Lincoln. From the first whistle, Newark set the tone and never let it go — disciplined, connected, relentless and full of heart.
We’re building something special: a squad with talent, grit and belief.
Final score: 16–9.

U12s brought the fire today against Swans 🔥
A dominant performance from the first whistle, digging deep in the final quarter to hold off their attack and take the win 29–24. Great team performance

✨ Not a win on paper, but a win in every way that matters. Our U12s battled with grit, courage and absolute determination from first whistle to last. When your effort forces the opposition to bring their starters back on… that says everything.
Pride isn’t a big enough word to describe how we feel about these girls. This is Newark Netball Club ❤️🖤🏐

✨ Good luck to our U12s this morning, as they head to play Bramcote in the 2 Counties League. This first season has been such a joy to watch — a group of girls growing in confidence, learning the game, and backing each other every step of the way. They make everyone at the club incredibly proud. ❤️🖤🏐

🔥 Huge thanks to White Watch from Newark Fire Station for joining us at training this week! As part of their brilliant outreach programme, they're building connections with females in sport — and we were lucky to be part of that journey. They came to support, stayed to sweat, and even picked up a few netball tricks along the way. Who knew firefighters had such fast feet? 😄💪
