Newark Tennis Club Newark Tennis Club is a fun and friendly club with coaching, social tennis and competitive Tennis for juniors and adults of all ages.

Newark Tennis Club was established in 1887; it is run by its members and is in the heart of the town. We have all weather, summer and winter courts and play socially and competitively all year round.

Next up in our Meet the Captains series is John Bramley, captain of our Men’s 1st Teams.

John has been a member of Newark Tennis Club for six years and says he joined after being made to feel so welcome on his first visit but also spent some time at the club as a Junior.

John captains our Men’s 1st Teams in both the Pro Set and Short Format leagues, leading the club’s top men’s sides throughout the season.

🎾 Newark Tennis Club Open Day 🎾

No experience, no racquet, no problem! Come and join us for a FREE day of tennis on Saturday 13th June! 🥳

We’ll have coaching sessions for all age groups throughout the morning (see post for times), followed by our exciting One Point Slam tournament — one point, one winner, every match! 🏆

We’ll then round off the day with a fun doubles tournament, open to everyone.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, haven’t played in years, or are already a regular player, there’s something for everyone. Come along, meet new people, have some fun, and give tennis a go! 🙌🏻

For the 3rd year running, Newark Tennis Club were at the Nottinghamshire County Show! It’s always great fun to see so many people trying tennis with us, and we hoped you enjoyed it as much as we did! 🎾

We’ll be back in the Community Zone next year to do it all again! We can’t wait to see you there! 🙌🏻
