Newark Hockey Club Mens Training Tuesdays 7-8.30pm, Ladies Training Wednesdays 7-8.30pm, Junior Training Sunday Mornings

Hockey has a long history in Newark and the club has built up proud traditions of sportsmanship and friendliness that present day teams continue to uphold. The club currently runs 8 league teams, 4 mens and 4 ladies, competing across the midlands, plus a very health junior section. New players are always welcome so if you are a current player looking for a new team, a former player who is thinking

about returning to the game or are just interested in trying hockey for the first time please get in touch or pop down to training.

Throwing back to a fantastic day for our u10s and u12s, chosen to take part in the In2Hockey tournament at Nottingham Hockey Centre.

They battled hard and played some great hockey in some cold, windy and wet weather. Our four teams did incredibly well and made Newark HC very proud.

Our u10 girls came second, after ‘shuffles’ and then ‘sudden-death shuffles’ (one on one with a keeper- eek!) to make it through to the next round on the 29th March. 🎉

Well done players and huge thank you to the coaches, umpires, organisers and parents for supporting. 🏑
