PLAYER OF THE MONTH – AUGUST 2026 🏆

Congratulations to Finn Tilmouth, our August Player of the Month! 👏

1st XV Captain Jack Elliott:
“This is Finn’s first year training with the seniors, after a few cameo appearances in the 7s tournaments throughout the summer. He has taken to it extremely well. Both in attack and defence, he is showing huge promise. He’s got some serious wheels and is not afraid to put his body on the line, where he has made some important cover tackles.
We’ve been very impressed so far and we hope he continues to improve over the coming weeks, leading up to the season.”

A big thank you to Northern Football Club for hosting us and giving us a run-out as we continue our pre-season preparations👏

Our next pre-season fixture sees us take on Alnwick at home on September 10th, with a 7PM KO!

With the start of the rugby season postponed until the end of September, we’re still getting the doors open and welcoming you all back! ❤️

⏰ Clubhouse open from 2pm

MORPETH RFC UNDER 6s – NEW PLAYERS WANTED! 🏉

We’re getting ready for the new season and still have a few spaces available in our Under 6s Tag Rugby squad.

Our U6s sessions are all about introducing children to rugby in a fun, friendly and positive environment — building confidence, making new friends and learning the basics of the game.

🔴 No previous rugby experience needed
⚪ Non-contact tag rugby
🔴 Sunday mornings at Morpeth RFC
⚪ Two FREE trial sessions
🔴 Open to boys and girls born 1 September 2020 – 31 August 2021

The new season starts Sunday 6th September, so now is a great time to come along and give rugby a try.
