Morpeth Cricket Hockey and Tennis Club Home of Morpeth Cricket Club, Morpeth Men's & Ladies Hockey Clubs, Morpeth Tennis Club & Alnwick Ladies Hockey Club.

Set inside picturesque grounds, our Club has 2 cricket pitches, 1 full sized 11 a side astro pitch, 6 tennis courts and our own clubhouse. Based 2 miles north of Morpeth Northumberland, our club offers sport for juniors, adults and seniors from beginner to national levels. Our Clubhouse is surrounded by protected woodland, with a ‘sun trap’ of a b**r garden and adjoining a large grassed playing area, it is the ideal setting for any event. From quiet drinks with your family, to a catch up with friends, to even larger events such as a birthday parties, Christenings, a celebration of life or a wedding. Pitch refurbishment in process Morpeth Hockey Club ! You know how much of a chore it can be to get the hoover out at home? Imagine what it’s like for these boys. Brushing the pitch and then sucking up 40 to 50 tons of sand & dirt before spreading 40 tons of new sand ready for the season to start. It’s hot & dusty out there today!

What a day! We had a 4th birthday party in the morning (Happy Birthday, Harry!), a cricket match in the afternoon (well done to the 1st XI winning their top of the table clash!) and another birthday party this evening (Happy Birthday, Amy!)
Everyone was very well behaved and had lots of fun at both parties, and the cricketers seemed to enjoy themselves too!

Another big week morpethchtc ! So far we’ve had wins for U15 cricket and a cup win for the 1st XI. We’re having a night off tonight, maybe watch some telly, before our U11 team play on Thursday and junior training on Friday. Bar will be open from 5pm. Come along and sit with a drink, have a pizza from the amazing Dou_h&Co on Friday and relax into the weekend
