🚜 ASHINGTON – TUESDAY ⚽️

Our Ashington footballers had a fantastic time down on the farm this week!

Our Micros explored different animal movements to develop their balance and coordination. They then rounded up the escaped animals by dribbling them towards the goal before finishing with a fun obstacle course involving running, jumping and shooting.

Our Minis moved around the area, unleashing their inner farm animals while working on their speed and movement. They then practised their dribbling and finishing before ending the session with small-sided matches.

Our little footballers had lots of fun this week with our farm-themed sessions!

Our Micros developed their movement and coordination by moving around like different farm animals. They then practised their dribbling and ball control while collecting the escaped animals and kicking them into the goal. They finished by completing an obstacle course involving running, jumping and shooting.

Our Minis played a brilliant foxes, cows and sheep game, developing their reactions, changes of direction and close control. They then worked on dribbling and goal scoring before ending with small-sided matches.

⚽️ GIRLS DEVELOPMENT SESSION | BLYTH ⚽️

Our girls’ development sessions returned with a bang this week!

It was fantastic to welcome back so many familiar faces, as well as some new players joining us for the first time.

The session focused on finishing and scoring from different angles before progressing into small-sided games, giving the girls plenty of opportunities to practise their finishing in match situations.

A huge well done to Nora, who was named our Player of the Session! 🌟

Ellington Development Session 🤩⚽️

Well done to everyone at Ellington over the weekend!

We focused on ball mastery movements and ball juggling, helping the players improve their control and confidence on the ball. We then progressed into 1v1s and 2v2s, encouraging the players to be brave and confident in possession.

We finished the session with a competitive 4v4 small-sided game, giving everyone the chance to put what they’d practised into a match situation.

A massive well done to everyone — you absolutely smashed it! 👏⚽️

⚽️ HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON | ALNWICK, BLYTH & WHICKHAM

Our little footballers became dragons this weekend with our How to Train Your Dragon themed sessions! 🐉

Our Micros became dragons, showing us their flying skills and fire-breathing roars to warm up! They then moved onto a dragon egg hunt, counting how many eggs they could collect, before finishing with the parachute and sending the dragon eggs flying into the sky!

Our Minis moved around the hall flying like different dragons, including backwards dragons and crazy dragons! We then introduced some dragon hunters to see if they could capture the dragon eggs, before finishing with match time! ⚽️

A fun-filled weekend of football, imagination and development!
