In Episode 10 of the Leeds Open Series, we meet Caleb O’Connor from Limavady Titans, Northern Ireland, a club that keeps producing champions.

Caleb took home the Peewees Grand Championship – Battle of the Tiny’s at this year’s Leeds Open, adding another huge result to an already impressive young career. 🏆

🥊 EPISODE 09: JOSH LEONARD IS READY TO DOMINATE THE JUNIORS

In Episode 09 of the Leeds Open Series, we catch up with Josh Leonard from Andrew Hicks Karate School in Peterborough after a huge day at this year’s event.

Josh had only just turned 14, but stepped into the Junior Boys 14–17 section, won it… and still described it as his warm-up. 😂

Why? Because the main target for the day was the Junior Open Weight.

We have a fun conversation with Josh about his mindset going into the competition, why he was so focused on the Open Weight, and what he wants to achieve now that he’s entering the next stage of his junior career.

At just 14, he’s already looking ahead to the next year or two and has his sights firmly set on making his mark across the WAKO, WKU and WKC circuits.

Amber left the Leeds Open with the title trophy, prize money and championship gloves, adding another big result to an already impressive year.

In our first episode, featuring organisers Kyle Findley and Dean Imbusch looking back at how this year's event went and what's next for the competition.

This is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks we'll be bringing you conversations with 60 competitors, coaches and contributors who made the Leeds Open what it is.

And mark your calendars, next year's dates are confirmed: Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June. Forms will feature on the Saturday & all matt sports will feature on the Sunday!
