What's your biggest barrier into training at this moment in time?

⛔️ Just all round looking after everyone else!!!

We see it a lot, but once people start in the studio, meet new people, have a laugh - they actually find themselves wanting ot get back in the studio.

This is their time away from the hustle and bustle of life and a chance for them to focus on themselves - for one hour a day, a few days a week they make themselves the priority.

Having Hannah in the sessions is an absolute pleasure (most of the time). She keeps us well entertained, but more importantly has settled right into our little community. 💚

The 6-week plan isn't really about changing everything.

It's about finally understanding what's actually going on.

6 weeks gives us enough time to spot the patterns. The Tuesday slump where you skip lunch because work's mental. The weekend where the wheels come off because you've been running kids to football since 8am. The Thursday where you're somehow nailing it every single week without realising why.

Good habits. Not-so-good habits. They're all in there - you just can't see them when you're living in the chaos.

We'll get your calories calculated and help you understand what your body actually needs from protein - not what some bloke on TikTok told you.

We'll track your progress with measurements and photos. Actual evidence of what's changing. Not a number on a scale that shifts depending on whether you had a glass of water 10 minutes ago.

And yeah - calorie tracking. Before you glaze over, it doesn't have to be the soul-destroying, weigh-every-grain-of-rice experience you're imagining. We'll show you how to do it in a way that's actually manageable. Dare we say, easy.

Another brilliant turnout for Sunday’s walk!

We headed up Todd Crag for a lovely view over Windermere, then a gentle loop around Lily Tarn. A nice steady one for the members, the kids, and more dogs than we knew what to do with.

And of course, no trip to the Lakes is complete without a stop at the for a slice to finish! 😋

The 6-week plan isn't a quick fix.

It's not a meal plan that expects you to eat chicken and broccoli 14 times a week. It's not a calorie deficit that has you white-knuckling it until day 43 when you inhale a Dominos.

It's not about living on the scales either. Weighing yourself every morning and letting a number decide whether today's a good day or a write-off. We don't do that. Your progress is measured properly - body measurements, progress photos, real evidence. Not a number that means almost nothing on its own.

It's not about making calorie tracking your new full-time job. If the thought of logging every meal makes you want to lie down, fair enough. But it doesn't have to be like that. Honestly, most people are surprised how little effort it actually takes once someone shows them how.

And it's definitely not about pretending your life isn't already full of school runs, work deadlines, kids' hobbies, and whatever chaos Tuesday throws at you.

We're not here to ignore all of that. We're here to work with it.

Because a plan that only works when life's calm isn't a plan. It's a fantasy.

Each year we get a few dates pencilled into the social calendar to get members together away from the same walls of the studio.

It's a great way to catch up with people from the sessions and meet other members that come in at different times.

If you're a member, book on via the TeamUp app. If you fancy bringing someone with you, please feel free to do so, the more the merrier.
