Redbrook Equestrian is a friendly professionally run Riding School, Pony Club Centre and livery yard
situated in Upper Redbrook near Monmouth in the beautiful Wye Valley. We have horses and ponies to suit all abilities from beginners to experienced riders and offer a range of activities and courses by qualified instructors.

Redbrook Equestrian, Upper Monmouth (NP25)

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced and friendly person to join our relaxed, happy yard team.

The role is 2 mornings and 1 weekend day each week - May be more hours available if you wish, during busy periods.

🐎 The Role

Duties will include:

• Bringing horses in and preparing them for lessons
• Grooming, tacking up and untacking
• Helping clients get on and off safely
• Hay and watering
• Keeping the yard tidy and organised
• General yard duties and horse care
• Moving hay bales and some tractor work

Our horses live out 24/7, so there is no mucking out!

What we’re looking for

You must be confident handling horses of all breeds and sizes, have good practical horse experience and be reliable and happy to get stuck in.

We’re a friendly, relaxed yard, so we’re looking for someone with a good attitude who enjoys working with horses and people.

There may also be opportunities to ride our schoolmasters and enjoy some hacking.

🏇 Lesson Payment Reminder 🏇

A polite reminder to everyone booking their next riding lesson:

If you have rebooked your next session with your instructor at the end of your lesson, please remember to make payment once you are home and send a 👍🏻 to Hayley once payment has been made.

Payment must be made in advance of your lesson.
Please use your name and lesson date as the payment reference.

Our instructors are more than happy to book your next lesson in for you while you are at the yard, but we do ask that you follow up with payment afterwards.

We’ve recently had a few occasions where lessons have been rebooked but payment hasn’t been made, and unfortunately the rider then hasn’t turned up for the lesson. To help us keep everything organised and ensure spaces are available to those who want them, your lesson is only confirmed once payment has been received.

A big thank you to everyone who already does this — we really appreciate your help and it makes such a difference! 💕🏇
