2 Day Connected Riding Workshop, up for Beginners and those that have done a small amount of Connected Riding. Run by Hayley Howells Connected Riding Instructor.

Using easy to learn techniques that will allow both horse and rider to achieve freedom of movement in Self carriage. Connected Riding is based on reciprocal connection rather than force, you will learn to use your own body to enhance the performance of your horse. Ride pain and resistant free and have more fun doing it.

1. Rider awareness- riders practice exercise is to release holding patterns in their body and find a neutral pelvis. When the rider is in neutral it frees them self to move more effectively.
2. Ground work- bringing awareness of holding patterns to your horse. You will learn how to help your horse release tension and find a good weight baring posture through a combination of stationary and moving bodywork exercises.
3. Working in the saddle for the dance. Putting it all together for fluidity and movement together with your horse..

Connected Riding 100 series Training Clinic.

2 day clinic. Friday and Sunday 19th and 21st July.

This Clinic will be suitable for those beginning their Connected Riding journey, or those that would like to go over the fundamentals of CR.

I will teach Neutral Pelvis.
It will allow freedom of movement through your body, its safer, more comfortable and instills confidence, giving you better balance and connection to your horse.
Your horse mirrors you and he will be more comfortable, better balanced, have a good weight bearing posture, creating confidence and eliminating unwanting behaviours ie, bucking, rearing, bolting, freezing, spooking etc.

And as a happy side effect your horse can step through and find his own self carriage.
Theres a lot to like, it teaches you body work, ground work and riding.

The clinic will cover three aspects.

Places are limited to 6. Costs £120 per day. Interested parties fill out registration form and submit a deposit of £50. Full payment should be paid 1 month prior to clinic. Please note non-refundable payments. Unless we can find someone to take your place.
