Today me and other allied healthcare professionals made our way down to Luton Town F.C. to talk with the academy lads about the L.A.P.S program (Life After Professional Sport)

Very engaging and a respectful bunch of lads from my first impressions of the players. I wish them all the best in the future.

Yesterday I attended Stevenage Football Club accompanied with other healthcare professionals to talk to the academy boys about my experience from football & podiatry.

I am pleased to be apart of such a unique program. A scope into the journey pathways shared by my colleagues was engaging as it gave the boys a better insight of the possibilities and opportunities that can be explored even co-existing with their football careers if they chose to do so.

There is a tangible link between football & podiatry - part of the aim is to invite athletes the opportunity to explore courses such as Podiatry. I gave the boys a brief example yesterday on the basis of building a strong fascial connection which starts from the feet in order to reduce injuries whilst developing & optimising elite athletic performance.

Our first preseason match with our first win against Daventry Res.

Proud of all our lads, we stayed focused and the boys done well considering this is also our first 11 aside match playing together.

Our next match will be away to Irlchester F.C on Wednesday away 7.30 kickoff
