Your kids don’t need a fitter dad. They need one who’s still here at 70.

Everyone trains for the next photo, the next summer, the next event. Nobody trains for the decades after that, the ones where your grandkids are asking you to play, not your toddlers.

The habits you skip now don’t just cost you abs. They cost you years, the ones your kids will actually remember, because by then they’ll understand what they were worth.

Training isn’t about looking good at 35. It’s about being able to get down on the floor with your grandkids at 70 and get back up without thinking about it.

DM me READY if you’re training for decades, not summers.

Everybody wants the shortcut.

Here’s the joke. The shortcut is discipline.

I’m not against anything that makes life easier. GLP1, fat loss jabs, whatever helps. I get why people reach for them. But even that isn’t magic. You still have to eat right, train, hit your protein and stay consistent to build a body you’re actually proud of. It helps you get there. It doesn’t do the work for you.

Because anything worth having comes with a cost. There’s no version where you skip the effort. None.

Same with hiring a coach.

People think getting a coach means results overnight, and when it doesn’t happen in 30 days they cry scam. That’s where all the hate on online coaches comes from. Nobody promised overnight. What a good coach promises is faster. It still takes discipline and showing up no matter what.

Let me put it in real terms.

Most dads spend years going round in circles. Losing a stone, gaining it back, trying every diet, starting again every January. That’s the slow road. The one with no end point.

A coach doesn’t skip the work for you. They cut the learning curve. They stop you wasting three years figuring out what someone could tell you in three weeks. They keep you accountable enough to not quit. That’s what a shortcut actually is. Not avoiding the effort. Compressing the time.

Nothing great comes from easy. Nothing. But things do get easier over time, and the right guidance gets you there faster. That’s the whole game.

So stop trying to get fit overnight.

Pay the price on a shorter timeline instead of no timeline at all.

Discipline is cheaper than another failed diet. And it’s a lot cheaper than staying stuck.

šŸ‘Š If you want real help getting fit around a busy life, DM me ā€˜START’ and I’ll show you how it works.

9 years coaching. Dad myself. And the number one thing that stops dads losing body fat isn’t training.

It’s the leftovers eaten standing at the sink.

The garage coffee.

The two biscuits with the 9pm brew.

None of it feels like a decision, so none of it gets counted.

You’re not eating badly. You’re eating twice.

Fix that one thing and the training you’re already doing finally starts showing.

YOUR KIDS ARE WATCHING MORE THAN YOU THINK.

You might think your training is just about you.

Losing the belly.

Getting stronger.

Feeling better in your clothes.

Having more energy.

But there’s someone else paying attention.

Your kids.

They see you lace up your trainers when you’d rather sit on the sofa.

They see you make time to train even when work has been mental.

They see you choosing to look after yourself instead of constantly putting your health at the bottom of the list.

And then one day, something happens.

They start copying you.

They pick up a toy dumbbell.

They start doing press-ups next to you.

They put their trainers on and proudly announce:

ā€œI’m doing exercise like Dad.ā€

That’s when you realise this was never just about getting leaner.

Because children don’t only learn from what we tell them.

They learn from what we repeatedly show them.

If they grow up seeing Dad exercise, eat well, stay active and look after himself, those behaviours become normal.

Not punishment.

Not something you only do because you’re unhappy with your body.

Just part of life.

Your habits today become part of their definition of normal tomorrow.

That’s a much bigger reason to keep showing up than a number on the scales.

Train for yourself.

But remember who might be watching. šŸ‘Š

Dads, weight loss doesn’t need to be complicated.

Start with one thing: a calorie deficit.

But if you want to make fat loss easier and protect your muscle…

šŸ‘‰ Swipe to the next one.

Now add high protein.

It helps keep you fuller and supports your muscle while you’re losing fat.

But there’s still one important piece missing…

Now add strength training. šŸ’Ŗ

Calorie deficit + high protein + lifting weights = a stronger, leaner, more capable Dad.

And if you want help putting all of this into practice…

šŸ‘‰ One more swipe.

Busy Dad? You’re in the right place.

Simple fat loss.
Strength training.
Nutrition that fits family life.

No extremes. No hours in the gym.
