Thank you Munners πŸ™Œ

Today marked Monroe Job’s last day as our Development Officer!

After initially starting off his journey at the Greenyards with the Southern Knights, Monroe became a massive part of the Melrose Rugby community in his role as DO. From delivering sessions in the local schools, running rugby camps and coaching our academy, Monroe made a huge impact across the last 18 months.

Not forgetting his roles as head of inflatables and even stepping in as Digby for GoFibre… We did also manage to get him in a Melrose jersey once too at Gala 7s!

Monroe will be a massive miss at the club but we wish him all the best as he joins National 1 side Bishop’s Stortford.

A reminder that registration for our summer camp is live!

The camp is open to all children, boys & girls, from across the Scottish Borders and beyond, from primary 1 to S3. The camp will focus on developing rugby specific core skills, decision making and game management whilst providing players with a broad and holistic rugby package where fun, inclusion, friendship and enjoyment are at it’s core.

The camp offers players the opportunity to develop alongside SRU qualified coaches and guests who have played rugby to a professional standard. All coaches are vetted by Disclose Scotland PVG Scheme.

Melrose Rugby were delighted to lend some jerseys to the St John’s Care Home residents for their entry into this year’s .festival fancy dress!

Well done to the β€˜Geriatric 7s Team’ who were awarded 2nd place πŸ₯ˆ

It was brilliant to see all the community in Melrose get involved last night πŸ™Œ
