Fantastic weekend for the team this weekend with 3 of our juniors Anastasia, Isabella and Sam, stepping up and all earning themselves medals 🥇🥈🥉and Christian stepping into the elite teens bracket and bringing himself home a nice shiny NAGA belt.

Thanks to Jack and Tony for being there to coach and corner the Juniors and Karol for stepping in to coach Christian.

Beginner No-Gi, done properly.

Last night's focus was on safe takedowns — learning how to enter, control, and bring a partner to the mat without chaos or unnecessary risk.

For beginners, takedowns aren’t about speed or strength. They’re about balance, posture, grips, and knowing how to look after both yourself and your training partner.

Build control first.
Add intensity later.

This is how confidence grows and injuries stay low.
