To me it feels that some people are waiting for the ‘magic pill’ to appear to help achieve their goals without putting in any real effort in exercising or living healthy. If you look around in popular mainstream society there are so many fad diets, nutrition & detox programs that promise the world and in the end deliver nothing in the way health,well being. With that in mind it seems strange that
society has never before had more access to information about the steps to good health. Search engines like Google have allowed us to gain access to literally millions of pages of literature in an instant. Similarly, society has never had more access to low fat foods than ever before, nor have we had so many exercise options, fitness facilities or health professionals available to us. Yet statistically the world is getting unhealthier, fatter and living with cardiovascular based diseases more than ever before. According to research from the NHS and the British Heart foundation there are 15 million Brits living with Obesity today running the risk of developing often life threatening diseases such as, Type 2 Diabetes, Cancers, Osteoarthritis, Heart disease, Depression, Strokes. The researchers predict that if the current trend continues, up to 48% of men and 43% of women in the UK could be obese by 2030. Link that sink in, that nearly half of the population. This would add an additional £2 billion per year in medical costs for obesity diseases. The statistics are a major reason why cardiovascular disease remains the largest cause of mortality in Britain today; respectively cardiovascular disease (the term used for Heart, Stroke and blood vessel disease) kills 1 person every 10 minutes in the UK. Despite improvements over the last few decades, it remains one the biggest burdens of our countries economy. As a health professional I have simply taken the science of human physiology and the science of muscle biochemistry (which hasn't changed for thousands of years and isn't likely to in the near future) and applied it to a body transformation programme which has been heavily researched and proven time and time again with happy clients of mine. The program can be adapted to anybody no matter how big or small your goals are. All you need is some determination and will power.
