Something I tried to do with 'For The Love' was tell the Fans Supporting Foodbanks story.

Supporters have been collecting donations for Trussell and others and others for over a decade now.

FSF is the outstanding example of what football supporters can achieve today.

Along the way, football supporters have built their communities up and saved lives through food donations, food pantries and more - nationally, and internationally via the FSF network.

Our reach goes as far as Japan via honorary Geordie Ken Narita!

In the future, we hope to do so much more with the campaign.

Spearheaded by FSF it aims to solve food poverty in the UK entirely.

All through the power of football supporters and solidarity.

Being able to write this story (and be part of it) has been an honour and a privelege.

I hope it inspires you.

Looking forward to the Festival of Fan Activism on Saturday, organised by FC Community who were kind enough to invite me to speak.

My bit is about the tension between supporters and the boardroom and what power we have for activism in the game.

Hoping to offer some insight which complements the experiences of those from supporter-owned clubs in Italy and Germany, and author Daniel Fieldsend.

Also looking forward to the other panels about activism in the community, in the women's game and for inclusion in football.
