This week we’re shining the spotlight on our Principal, Miss Natasha Zauscinski! ✨

Miss Natasha has been dancing since she could walk and achieved her first teaching qualification in 2001. Since then, she has dedicated her career to continual professional development, ensuring TNA pupils receive the highest quality training and education.

Her qualifications and achievements include:

✨ Certificate in Education awarded by the University of Huddersfield
✨ RAD Registered Teacher
✨ Qualified Rambert Grades Teacher
✨ Fellow of IDTA Contemporary Modern Jazz
✨ Licentiate qualifications in Tap, Ballet, Theatre Craft, Freestyle and Street Dance
✨ Acrobatic Arts & Acrotrix Qualified Teacher
✨ Progressive Ballet Technique Certified Teacher
✨ Alixa Flexibility Certified Teacher
✨ Competition Adjudicator
✨ Committee Member of the IDTA North West Theatre Area Committee

And the learning never stops! 📚

✨ Currently completing her IDTA Fellowship in Tap, with examinations taking place in the coming weeks.
✨ Commencing work towards her IDTA Fellowship in Ballet this September.

Miss Natasha firmly believes that great teachers never stop learning and is passionate about continuing her own professional development so she can pass the very latest knowledge and training on to her pupils.

For over 20 years, Miss Natasha has been helping children and young people build confidence, develop lifelong skills and achieve their goals both in and beyond the studio.

Her favourite part of teaching is watching pupils flourish from nervous beginners into confident performers and seeing the friendships, memories and achievements that are created along the way. 💖

The Nicholson Academy was built on the belief that every child deserves a place where they feel valued, supported and encouraged to be the very best version of themselves.

✨ MOTIVATION MONDAY ✨

Another week closer to our July examination sessions and our dancers are continuing to work incredibly hard in every class! 💖

From perfecting technique and building strength to improving performance quality and confidence, every lesson brings new progress and new achievements.

Sometimes the biggest successes aren’t measured by medals or certificates, but by the determination to keep trying, the courage to step outside your comfort zone and the commitment to becoming a little bit better each week. 🌟

We are so proud of every single pupil for the effort, focus and enthusiasm they bring through our doors.

✨ SATURDAYS AT TNA ✨

Did you know that Saturdays are our busiest day at The Nicholson Academy? 🩷

From 8.30am right through until 4.00pm, all FIVE of our studios are buzzing with dancers, performers and future stars! 🌟

Our Super Saturday timetable is packed with classes for all ages, including Tap, Ballet, Contemporary Modern Jazz, Street Dance, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre and Melody Bear classes for our youngest performers. 💃🕺

Week after week we are blown away by the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm shown by every single pupil. Watching our students grow in confidence, skill and friendships is what TNA is all about. 🖤🤍🩷

✨🌟 TNA SUMMER BALL 2026 🌟✨

The countdown is on to one of our favourite nights of the year! 🩷

Join us on Saturday 27th June 2026 at Stanley House, Audenshaw Masonic Hall for an evening of celebration, laughter, dancing and making memories with our TNA family.

🏆 We will also be presenting exam awards from both our March and May IDTA examination sessions, celebrating the incredible achievements of all our pupils who have worked so hard throughout the year.

🎉 More than 50% of tickets have already sold, so if you’re planning on joining us, don’t leave it too late!
