Dance has always been so much more than movement to me. It can be such a powerful way to process grief, to express the things that words simply can’t, and to keep the memory of the people we love alive 🤍

These two pieces will always hold an incredibly special place in my heart. The first piece created this year for my beautiful best friend, Ashleigh and the second piece created almost 5 years ago in memory of my amazing Dad, Graham.

I feel so honoured to be in a position where I can turn love, loss and memories into something so meaningful, and share those emotions through my dancers. Girls, thank you for playing such a huge role in these pieces that mean the world to me.

Grief never leaves us, but sometimes dance gives it somewhere to go. 🤍

Acro workshop with Niamh & Lauren ✨

Niamh is Acrotrix qualified and Lauren has a level 1 general gymnastics British Gymanstics qualification and an intermediate women’s artistic gymnastics Australian gymnastics accreditation.

I’m so incredibly proud of every dancer who stepped out on the world stage and represented KDA so brilliantly ✨ To come in the top 10 for all our routines really was an outstanding achievement!

A MOSSLEY dance school is celebrating an outstanding debut at the Dance World Cup after securing seven top 10 finishes while representing Team England on the world stage.

Kirsten’s Dance Academy, based at Woodend Mill, travelled to Dublin after qualifying seven troupe routines and a song and dance duet for the prestigious international competition.
