The winning run continued for the boys this morning in a belter of a game. Having created the best of the chances in the first half, it was really frustrating to concede right before the HT whistle but the reaction was superb. Totally dominant in the second half, some brilliant passages of play and never really looked in trouble at the other end. It was the switch to 3 at the back that secured the result for us though, that enabled us to outnumber in midfield and a superb FK from Alex with 5 minutes to play was the icing on the cake…. On we roll, big cup game next week 💙

Difficult to get any sort of rhythm going on a really tight pitch this morning but our goals did come from moments of quality and we maintain our current momentum. We’d have probably lost that game earlier in the season (conceding an early goal) but we’ve come through the other side and look a different team now. Let’s keep it going boys 👏🏻💙

The frustration of losing comfortable leads has been the story of the season so far, today couldn’t have been more different to that. Our first half performance was unreal and it simply blew our opposition away!!! Aggressive without the ball and superb with it, the quality of our goals was outstanding. Slightly disappointing to give two sloppy late goals away, but it feels like things might be turning now and it’s great to see 💙

The nightmare start to this season continues…. Losing comfortable leads, gifting teams goals and lacking concentration is costing us hugely. The boys stuck at it today with only 10 players for 3 quarters of the game due to injury, they can be immensely proud to only lose the second half 2-1 but you get no points for that!!! (lots of hard work ahead) Well done to on a really good performance and thanks once again to our sponsor 💙

Our season is underway in a new league and we raced into a 2-0 lead this morning. The loss of two important players through injury halted our creativity though and we just couldn’t see it out against a strong side. A belter of a game, that’ll be a good point over the course of the season 💙
