After years of teaching, assisting on trainings, and continuing to learn myself, these are some of the things I’ve come to believe matter most.

Mastering Rest was created from these values, a space to explore Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra while learning how to teach through an accessible lens.

There’s still time to join us this September.

Take the full 100-hour training, or choose an individual module.

With every day that passes at TRC I feel myself letting go of the need for perfection, or to do more. If anything, I’m thinking about how I can do less, keep things simple, and make the experience feel effortless.

All of it, including my process, is a work in progress.

It sometimes feels overwhelming but the in between moments keep me fueled, helps me remember my why and give me the space to make this all possible.

Thank you for being here

💖Things adults have forgotten they’re allowed to enjoy

When you were a child you probably spent hours making things, reading books, writing letters, doing puzzles, listening to music, collecting little treasures, and getting completely lost in hobbies that didn’t need a purpose beyond bringing you joy.

Somewhere along the way, those little rituals became harder to make time for.

At The Rest Collective, we’re reclaiming the things adults have forgotten they’re allowed to enjoy.

Not because they’re productive.

Simply because they help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and remember what it feels like to play.

Maybe you’ve noticed that when you finally make time for these things, something shifts. Your mind feels quieter, your creativity starts to flow, and you feel a little more like yourself again.

That’s why we created our Offline Gatherings.

A few hours to step away from the noise and spend time doing the things you love (or discovering new ones).

Bring your knitting, sketchbook, book, journal, puzzle, craft project…or just yourself. Come to make, read, chat, rest, or simply be in a space with other people doing the same.

📍 Sunday 19 July
🕝 2:30–4:30pm
🎟️ £5 or free for TRC members

We’d love to know…

Which of these slow, analogue joys would you most love to make space for at TRC? 💕

We’d love to know

🔶When I was younger, I loved collecting scraps of things.

I spent most of the 90s keeping flyers, stickers, ticket stubs and random receipts from places I’d been. I made collages in my journals, wrote little

Years later, when I came across those journals again, I was almost transported back there.

I could remember how I felt, who I was with, what I was listening to, what mattered to me then.

That’s what I think of when I think about Paper Portals.

A moment in time that you get to capture and reflect on. A chance to gather together the images, words and feelings that are alive for you right now and turn them into something tangible.

And maybe the really lovely bit is that you get to do it slowly, around a table, with other curious, creative, like-minded people.

It feels nostalgic to me. A little bit playful and magical.

And I can’t wait to see what we all create together 🤍

We’re opening the doors a little wider this month 💖

One of the things I’ve always hoped for The Rest Collective is that it would be see as more than a yoga studio.

A place to gather, make things, get curious, learn, rest and spend time with other people in ways that feel meaningful.

So this July, we’re dipping our toes in.

Some of these events are communal and immersive. Some are quieter and more personal.

Truthfully, we’re testing the waters and seeing what resonates, and that’s part of the fun.

We’re excited to experiment, to listen and to discover together what kinds of gatherings this community is craving.

Whether you’d like to make a Paper Portal with and I, spend an afternoon offline, or join us for our next training, we’d love to welcome you.

Take the invitation that’s calling you 💕
