In a very rare opportunity, there are a few spaces available for new paddle members.

Not only do you become part of a paddle community, but as a member, you gain many benefits.

🚨 Turtle Rescue on the Kent Coast 🐢

At the end of January, our Medics raced to Folkestone after a member of the public spotted a cold-stunned, stranded turtle.

Thanks to the quick call to the BDMLR 24/7 hotline, Medics were able to rescue 'Moira' and relayed her to the specialist care team at SEA LIFE Brighton.💙

Stay safe in and on the water, if you do use the water make sure you have the right kit on for the weather, check conditions, wind direction and make sure you carry a means to call for help on your physical body (ie not in a bag on your board!)

In an emergency at the coast, even at Christmas, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

Remarkable 👏

NEWS // A British father and his brother have completed a remarkable paddle board crossing of the English Channel to raise funds for children’s cancer research. Jamie Bartlett-Bundy, 50, whose daughter Pearl tragically passed away from the aggressive bone cancer Ewing sarcoma in 2017, and his 56-year-old brother John, successfully paddled from Dungeness, Kent, to Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, in just seven and a half hours on October 1, honoring Pearl’s memory and raising a significant sum for the cause.
