Pre Season Rugby is Back!

Llandudno Rugby Club welcomes Sefton Rugby Club for our first home pre-season fixture.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Friday 31st JULY, 2026 at 19.00hrs

MEMBERS NOTICE

The Annual General Meeting will take place in the Clubhouse in order to present the Club accounts to the membership.

Nominations are invited for the following positions Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.

The nominated member must be a full member in accordance with the Articles of Association 5 (C) (B). Nominations must be in writing to the Secretary, having been both proposed and seconded by two full members. Nominations close on the 24th July 2026.

Voting is restricted to full members, as under Article 20 of Association.
In the event of no nominations being received for any of the vacant positions as in accordance with Article 29 (D) the elected directors shall fill up the remaining vacancy or vacancies accordingly.

THE GENERAL COMMITTEE REQUEST YOU TO MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND.

Held on the last Thursday of the month of July for over 30 years. The Llandudno Rugby Club - Fun Day & Donkey Derby. The driving force behind the event was Brian Bertola supported by the Committee and Club Members who would take a days leave from work to make the event a success. On one occasion the Red Arrows did a display over the bay. Followed by the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team who regularly supported the event and would land on Bodafon Fields.
The income was vital for the annual running of the Club and future investment in facilities . Grants at this time were few and far between and the Club had ambitious plans including moving from its modest Club House on Moon St to the present location on Maesdu Road.
Sadly, due to Health & safety issues and the rising cost of insurance
the event came to an end in the early 2000's.

🏉 A Huge Thank You! 🏉

A massive thank you to the WRU, RGC players, and committee members who gave up their time to support Wednesday’s rugby engagement event for the students of Ysgol John Bright.

It was brilliant to welcome around 150 students to the club, and thanks to everyone’s hard work, enthusiasm, and support, they all had a fantastic time experiencing the game of rugby.

We really appreciate everyone who helped make the day such a success and inspired the next generation of players. Diolch yn fawr!
