This year, we celebrate our fellow West Division team and friends: Stedham who won the Seaford Cup! 💛

Angmering dominated in the group section beating Loxwood 109-45
Lindfield 122-45
Adastra 119-42

Some stand out performances from the games saw Anna hit 46 in the first game followed by 61 in the second and 42. Well supported by Lucy who scored 36 and 53. Connie opened in the third scoring 60 and Soph took 6 wickets across the 3 games.

Winning their group, Angmering then played second place Isfield from their group. Isfield bowled well and restricted Angmering to 65, Connie top scoring with 33 not out. It was a superbly fought game that went to the last ball, Isfield needed 6 to win and they got it, clearing the boundary- just! Soph got a finger to it with a dive but we lost by one run.

This meant that Stedham got to face them for a second time having beaten them in their group. Stedham were so disciplined, and with the Angmering girls cheering our West friends on from the side, Stedham managed to win by only a couple of runs having set 63.

A HUGE well done to Loxwood, Angmering and Stedham who played brilliantly throughout the day. Such competitive games ❤️

The West Division girls will be united once again on the 16th August where they will look to defend the Expo Cup!

Well, that’s the end of the league season 2026.
The girls finished the league unbeaten after beating Winterfold this evening 💛💙💛

We have a number of August friendlies to see us through the summer before the Sussex Championship Final on Sunday 6th September, where we will take part in the Sussex County finals day at Plumpton.

Our season is now made up of league games and the 100 friendlies. League games are typically on Mondays and our friendly fixtures on Wednesdays. In the 100 we have played Clymping, Ebernoe, Midhurst, Kirdford, Stedham and Loxwood.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Bob, and would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Maureen and all of Bob’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Bob was a loyal and dedicated umpire who was always there behind the scenes, volunteering his time, traveling across counties, supporting the club and of course, his wife, Maureen. His kindness, commitment, and willingness to help never went unnoticed and meant so much to so many players and supporters, past and present.

Thank you, Bob, for everything you have done for Angmering Stoolball Club. You will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by us all 💙💛

Tonight we hosted Clymping for the west division 100. Clymping set 123 off their overs and we chased it down with one over to spare thanks to some quick 25s from Anna, Georgie and Connie.
