🚨 IMPORTANT: Accessing the New England Rugby Learning Platform on Mobile

Dear Coaches, Managers and First Aiders,

The new season is not that far away and in preparation for it the new England Rugby Learning platform is needed to update your headcase and safeguarding training to be able to continue in role.

If you are trying to get onto the new England Rugby Learning platform, the system actually runs on an app called Cornerstone OnDemand, and setting it up requires a specific multi-device process. Please follow these exact steps to get connected without getting locked out:

Step 1: The Initial Web Login & Filters

1. Click the link👇🏻 below (do this on your laptop or mobile browser).

englandrugbylearning.csod.com

2. Log in using your standard GMS Credentials (you can use your GMS username or the email address you normally use to log into GMS).

3. Once you are logged in, click the three lines (menu icon) on the top right-hand side.
4. This takes you to the Welcome Universal Profile page. Click on Your Account.

Step 2: Setting Your Preferences (Crucial for Roles)

1. On the menu that appears on the left, click Preferences.

2. Tick your relevant coaching, match officiating, or volunteer roles.

⚠️ Note for Team Managers:

Team Managers are not listed as standalone options. To make sure your player welfare, safeguarding, and compliance modules show up (including the new LooseHeadz Mental Health course), we suggest ticking options like, Age Grade Chair, Discipline, and RugbySafe and Safeguarding. Please note this won’t give you access on GMS to any of the roles. It will just give you learning courses and webinars to watch that’s irrelevant for your role as a team manager.

⚠️ Note for First Aiders: Click Rugbysafe and Safeguarding

Step 3: Registering Your Phone & Downloading the App

1. Look back at that left-hand menu and click on Devices.

2. Click Add Device where it says "Register your mobile phone, tablet, or computer" and follow the quick on-screen instructions to generate your unique pairing details.

3. Do not search for an England Rugby app. Instead, go to your phone's App Store and download the Cornerstone OnDemand app.

4. Open the Cornerstone app and enter the specific device information/codes given to you on your screen in the Devices section.

Once that is complete, you can open the Cornerstone app anytime to access your courses, track your qualifications, and view webinars.

Getting certified with the England Rugby Coaching Award helps us keep our club standards high, keeps our players safe, and gives you the best tools to enjoy your coaching journey.

Whether you're stepping up for the first time or updating your qualification, new course dates across the region are live. Check the schedule on the poster to find a date and venue that fits around your life, then log into the England Rugby Learning (ERL) platform to secure your spot.

How to Book Your Course (Step-by-Step)

🏉Check Your Online Prerequisites First: Log into the England Rugby Learning platform and check your My Learning tab. Make sure Headcase, Safeguarding, and eTacklesafe all show as 100% complete on your profile. The system will block face-to-face bookings if any are missing!

🏉 Select the £45 Main Module: For blended courses (like the England Rugby Coaching Award), you must enrol/purchase the main Digital Curriculum Module Package (£45) first.

🏉 Book Your Face-to-Face Slot (£0): Once that £45 digital package is active on your profile, go back to select your practical day (e.g., North West session)—it will now unlock and show as £0 so you aren't charged twice.

👏 A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers! 👏

Yesterday’s club clean-up was a fantastic success, with our volunteers working tirelessly both inside and outside the club. The improvements are already very clear, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Want to see the difference for yourself? Come down for a drink one evening while training is on, or join us to watch the Cup game on September 5th. 🏉🍻

A special thank you also goes to Phil from Norden Exterior Cleaning who worked throughout the day helping to clean up the exterior of the building. Your hard work was hugely appreciated!

Today is GCSE results day, and we want to wish all our Littleborough RUFC juniors the very best of luck as they collect their results.

Whatever results you receive today, remember that you have already made us proud. Your hard work, determination and commitment deserve to be celebrated, and your results do not define who you are or what you can achieve.

There are so many exciting opportunities and adventures ahead of you, and we know you all have bright futures ahead. 🌟

🐏 Littleborough Rams Update

🏉 What a first season for our Mixed Ability side! 💪

What started as a new team has grown week after week, with 30+ players representing the side throughout the season.

One of the biggest highlights has been seeing players who had never played rugby before come along, train every week and grow in confidence. 🙌

We’ve also had a fantastic number of players with additional needs representing the club and, most importantly, truly feeling part of the team. ❤️

And what an achievement to have 5 of our players represent Lancashire in the county’s first-ever Mixed Ability game! 🌹

After our first full season, we’ve finished 11th in the world! 🌍🏉

Now the lads are looking to build, develop and keep climbing that table, with more games, new opponents and plenty more rugby to come this season.
