Hey, I’m Ebony👋

I’m a BSc (Hons) qualified Physiotherapist specialising in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy.

My passion for physiotherapy began through my own experience as a football player recovering from injury. That journey inspired me to help others overcome pain, rebuild confidence, and return to the activities they love.

I treat a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation, using a combination of hands-on treatment and evidence-based rehabilitation tailored to your goals.

This week’s member spotlight goes to John 🙌🏼

John first came to LWL looking for support with his rehabilitation and to improve his health ahead of a kidney transplant.

At the time, he was recovering from a broken femur, reliant on crutches and unable to walk unassisted. Day-to-day life looked very different to what it does now.

Through a lot of hard work, consistency and support from Josh, John gradually rebuilt his strength and confidence, putting himself in the best possible position for surgery.

Fast forward to today, and not only has John undergone a successful kidney transplant, he’s gone on to take part in events such as Tough Mudder and continues to train regularly as he builds his strength even further.

John is proof that progress isn’t always about the weight on the bar. Sometimes it’s about taking back your independence, improving your quality of life and achieving things you once thought weren’t possible.

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of the journey and can’t wait to see what’s next 👏🏼💜

Mobility isn't just about touching your toes or stretching for hours.

It's about giving your body the ability to move into the positions you need for training, whether that's squatting, lunging, running or simply moving more comfortably day-to-day.

Here, Theo is working through a few lower body mobility exercises that can be easily added into a warm-up or recovery session.

A few minutes spent improving movement today can make a big difference to how you train tomorrow 💪

🌟 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT - TODD 🌟

A huge congratulations to Todd, who recently completed the AJ Bell Great Manchester Half Marathon in support of Springhill Hospice.

Not only did he complete the race, but he absolutely smashed his target time. Going into the event aiming for 2:20:00, Todd crossed the finish line in an incredible 2:06:20. An achievement he should be extremely proud of.

What makes this result so special is the work that nobody sees. Week after week, Todd turns up and gives everything he has. Whether it's strength training, conditioning, cardio sessions, or pushing himself outside of the gym, the effort is always there. He never looks for shortcuts and has earned every bit of progress through consistency, hard work and determination.

Looking back at where Todd started compared to where he is today is nothing short of inspiring. His weight loss journey has been incredible, and while he's achieved so much already, he's still striving to improve and become a better version of himself. That mindset is what sets him apart.

The half marathon wasn't just about running 13.1 miles. It was a reflection of months and years of commitment, discipline and believing in the process. It's proof that small actions repeated consistently can lead to life-changing results.

Todd has truly reaped the rewards of the effort he's put in, and we're incredibly proud to call him a member of LWL.
