This coming weekend we need a few more people to help us put our event together.

* X1 person to welcome first timers
* X2 people to record the time of the finishers
* X1 person to barcode scan
* X2 people to help maintain order in the finish funnel
* X4 people to support & cheer participants

If you’re new to volunteering or worried about getting it wrong, give us a try. We are a supportive team and you can be part of it.

Bramley parkrun event 484
What a morning, as we switched to the Winter Course. We had 4 seasons in 1 hour plus a beautiful rainbow.

🦺 A huge THANK YOU to our 35 volunteers who cheered on our 238 finishers 👏

🌱We welcomed 43 first timers (9 people whom had never done a parkrun before - hope to see you back soon)

🏃🏃‍♀️♣️ 32 different running clubs were represented.

🥇15 people gained a pb. Well Done 👏

👋 We had visitors from Ackworth, Bedfordshire, Dewsbury, Knaresborough, Meltham & Sheffield along with regulars from Bramley, Drighlington, Morley, Pudsey and the Vegan runners. Thank you for joining us on your parkrun journey

💚 Bramley parkrun #482 💚

What an absolutely bright and beautiful morning for parkrun! ☀️

The sun was shining and there was just enough of a breeze to make it perfect weather for tackling those famous Bramley hills. 😁

It was also lovely to see so many of you wearing green to help us mark in support of Macmillan. 💚 A sea of green, plenty of smiles and a whole lot of parkrun spirit around the park this morning!

This week we welcomed 162 runners, joggers and walkers across the finish line. Whether you raced it, ran it, jogged it, walked it or simply survived the hills — well done! 👏

🥇 Michael Abrams-Cohen was our first finisher in a brilliant 18:15.

💚 Rosina Costello was our first female finisher, flying around Bramley in 21:46.

A huge welcome to everyone visiting Bramley for the first time today, and an even bigger well done to anyone completing their very first parkrun! We hope you enjoyed your first taste of parkrun — although choosing Bramley means you've certainly thrown yourself in at the deep end with those hills! 😂💚

From speedy 18-minute finishes right through to our walkers and tail walkers bringing things home, that's exactly what parkrun is all about. Same 5k, completely different achievements. 💚

And, as always, none of it could happen without our wonderful volunteer team. From setting up and marshalling to timing, scanning, tokens and everything else that happens behind the scenes — thank you for giving up your Saturday morning so the rest of us can enjoy ours. 💚

162 finishers, sunshine, green everywhere and plenty of smiles — not a bad way to start the weekend! ☀️💚

Same time next Saturday for #483? We’ll provide the hills. 😁
