A busy Sunday down at Glebelands!

Saturday:
No game for our open age this week with Sheffield unable to field a team so they will be running a training session from 1-2:30pm at Glebelands.

Sunday:
Our U6’s will host Castleford Panthers & Dewsbury Moor with a 9am Kick Off.

This will be followed up with our U9’s fixture against Leeds Underdogs at 10am & our U14’s will take to the top for their match against Wetherby Bulldogs kicking off at 10:30am.

Our U7’s & U8’s are both on the road taking part in festivals at Morley & Normanton.

Whilst our U16’s travel over to Warrington to face Crossfields in their National Cup fixture at 1pm.

🐅 Full-time on a special group of lads.

On Sunday our Under 16s played their final home league game of the season. We’ll leave the result on the pitch, but what a journey it’s been.

From Under 6’s to now, over 10 years of junior rugby, these boys have grown as players, teammates and young men. Next up: Under 18s, open age, and for a few of our scholars, we hope, professional academy opportunities.

Along the way this special group has achieved so much:

🔴 Yorkshire Cup finalists as U13s
⚫️ Division 2 league champions (undefeated as U14s)
⚪️ And they’re one game away this upcoming weekend from reaching the National Cup quarter finals

Huge thanks to the coaches, parents and volunteers who’ve supported them every step of the way. ❤️🖤🤍

🐅 With no open age game today our Chairman ran the Yomp Mountain Challenge 10k, Well done finishing 10th overall 👏, unfortunately as it's not top 3 that's a £2 fine for the Open Age kitty 😅 🐅

🐅 Our U14s had a great session with Leeds Rhinos Foundation thanks to Danny Maguire coming down!

The team are always looking for new players, training is Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7pm 🐅

🐅 Thank you Leeds Rhinos Foundation our U14s, U9s, U8s, U7s & U6s had a great night and enjoyed the training sessions!
