Tonight our coaches are diving into that Hidden Gem of a skill development session. We believe in growing everyone, not just the players.

Session in progress right now… more from the evening coming soon. [EP]

It was a fantastic night, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who sponsored, donated and helped make it all possible. 👏🎉

Congratulations to our Women Peacocks Team on kicking off their season with a hard-fought, fully deserved win against Horsforth St Margaret’s! 💛💙🦚

Match report from coaches Jenny and Shelly:
"After a league mix-up delayed their season opener, we finally got the campaign underway with a hard-fought victory at West Riding County FA Headquarters. We started brightly, with Becky F, Andrea, and debutant Catherine, causing plenty of problems in attack, but it was Horsforth who took the lead with a strike from distance. Goalkeeper Anna kept us in the game with a fantastic display of saves, before Annie found the net just before half-time to level the score. The second half was a physical battle, but our relentless pressure paid off when Becky F was brought down in the box. Annie stepped up confidently to convert the penalty and grab her second goal of the match. Horsforth pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages, but we showed real determination, grit, and teamwork to see out a deserved 2-1 win and kick off our season in style!"

We are very proud of you and wishing you all the best for the rest of the season. 💛💙⚽️
