The midfielder put in a superb performance stopping attacks, making blocks and keeping Horsforth at bay.

Brilliant result for the First Team tonight as they beat Horsforth 3-2.

A fairly even first half that saw Jake Wright open the scoring with a deft finish at the front post.
The visitors levelled it up when a long ball wasn’t dealt with, and their striker finished well.

Second half the 1s stepped it up and two great goals earned the 3pts.
Firstly Joe Comiskey fired in a left footed strike into the top corner for 2-1.
Then on 66’ an excellent Nathan McDonnell cross was met superbly by Andy Crossland to head in.
Horsforth scored late on, but a deserved home wins for the 1s! đź’Ş

A fiercely competitive pre-season game today as the Seconds won 4-3.

1-0 down at HT.
Much better second half saw them go 3-1 up with 15’ left. Fairbank battled back with two good finishes to make it 3-3.

Lucca Metcalf scored from a fast break down the right to seal the result and a deserved win.

Positive first proper runout for the Seconds last night against an intense and quick Yorkshire Ammers side.

Nearly two different 11s played with plenty of good performances on show.

Next up in pre-season for the Seconds is Fairbank Utd away tomorrow.

Big win tonight for the First Team beating Otley Town 3-2 đź‘Ź

A fairly even first half with both sides missing chances. GK Eliot Broome saved the day on more than one occasion to keep Otley out.
Andy Crossland gave the lead from close range going into HT.

Otley drew level less than 5mins after the restart, but then found themselves down to 10 men pretty soon after. That didn’t deter them though and it was quickly 2-1 with a great strike on 60’.

Dan Tomlinson made it 2-2 with a great header from a Dom Tiffany cross.
In the last 15’ AC pounced on a GK error to give the lead and despite some guilt edge chances to extend the scoreline, the 1s battled well and held out for the 3pts 💪
