π¨ DROYLSDEN β WE NEED YOUR HELP! π¨
π Droylsden Life Saving Club has been a part of our community since 1971β¦ and we need your help to make sure it stays here for the next generation. β€οΈ
For over 50 years, our club has helped children and adults develop swimming, lifesaving, rescue and first aid skills at Active Medlock.
We are a not-for-profit club run entirely by volunteers who also put in too as we believe in what we do, but unfortunately weβre currently facing a difficult period.
Our membership numbers have reduced and our weekly pool hire costs have increased. That simply canβt continue forever and closure is a last resortβ¦
WE WANT TO REBUILD. πͺπ
Weβre reaching out to Active Tameside, our local councillors and other organisations to see what support may be available.
π Hereβs how YOU can help:
π² SHARE THIS POST β the more people in Droylsden and Tameside who see it, the better.
π JOIN US β weβre looking for new members who would like to learn lifesaving skills both water-based and first aid, also not just being part of our club but lifesaving family.
π£ TAG SOMEONE β know a family, swimmer or young person who might love lifesaving? Tag them below.
π€ LOCAL BUSINESSES β could your business sponsor or support a local community club? Weβd love to hear from you.
π‘ KNOW ABOUT FUNDING? β if you know of any grants, funding opportunities or organisations that could help us, please get in touch.
Every share could put this post in front of the person who can help us.
Droylsden Life Saving Club has been here since 1971. Letβs make sure itβs still here for many more years to come. β€οΈπββοΈ
