You may find it tough at times but once you reach your goal you'll be proud of the work you put in!

My first full comp back in October was a great day and i feel with better prep and more knowledge of everything i can beat that last total!

Leave it all under the bar, the gym is a place for many to switch off from certain things, to give themselves to something they love, to forget some struggles for awhile, a form of therapy, it will never replace the real thing i have found but can be a huge help even just for a hour or 2.

So leave all those problems and pains under the bar and work hard towards whatever goals you may have.
But always remember it can't always be the solution.

Flawless is a fiction, imperfection makes us whole.

You can't be perfect, there will always be things to work on, be that physically, mentally, emotionally or something else.

What you can be is consistent, that is what gets you to your goals, be consistent on working on whatever goal you have and you will achieve it.
Chasing perfection can lead you to be off and on everytime you mess up.

Praying i've done enough and can hit a great total on Saturday.
First full powerlifting competition, so nervous and excited all at once 😳😁.

Having this goal has really made me push myself and get closer and closer to the goals i set myself.

1 year spent bulking and growing!

Left side i was leaner and lighter obviously, i was around 98kg (216lbs) now on the right i weight around 110kg (242lbs)

I look a lot less defined, and may not look much different to some. Building muscle takes along time, and is a patient game. You can't expect to gain muscle living in a deficit trying to avoid weight/fat gain if you plan on building sufficient size.

I'm not exactly comfortable with how i look at the moment, and it can be hard at times to stay on track and not just enter a dieting phase. You don't make progress being comfortable all the time!

Extra session today!
Weak point/lagging body part training for myself which is shoulders and arms for me.

Adding that little extra volume for weak areas or lagging body parts can be effective, if you can recover from it that is.

Don't do too much that leaves you unable to recover for your next session.
