🙋‍♀️ WOMEN'S+ SOCIAL 💁‍♀️

Monday 21st - Ready, Set, Flow

This week, we’re mastering the art of resting and pacing. By learning when to pause and how to control your speed, you’ll be better prepared for tough moves and stay in control while tackling any route.

The Women's+ Social comes at no extra cost, just pay your normal entry at the desk and meet in The Den at 7:30pm.

Greg and Sam, 9 hours at horsethief quarry, having a grand time.
Learning to sport climb outdoors, be safe, have fun and open up a huge world of adventures.

Leading, belaying, holding falls and rethreading the top anchors.

Progressive day, bottom roping, rethreading lower off practice, climbing techniques, breathing, fuelling and lots of climbing. Culminating in really safe lead climbing on sport routes and stripping routes to leave the crag as we found it.

An absolute blast with these two, who both nailed

5b, 6a and some fall practice on 6b.

Last Saturday. Lovely to be back in the peak district.
The weather forecast has other ideas.
Mark and his band of 6, plus Greg & Sam all got some Gritstone 'texhnoque tips' from Rachel before the rope climbing began.

14 routes later, the weather finally beat us and we retreated to the Outside Ltd cafe for cake, coffee and a debrief.

Rained off from Twistelton Scar, so a short delay to the start and a relocation to another fantastic crag for limestone climbing. Buck Haw Brow.
Sunshine and great climbing at a nice relaxed pace.
Well done all.
It has been a great series of Children rock climbing club's.
Keep your eyes peeled for a bonus session towards the end of the summer holiday.

A hot day, a cooling breeze, a huge shady tarp and 10 children Rock climbing with SAAIGoutdoors.
Another very successful day. Hopefully sparking the enthusiasm for these young climbers to keep climbing.

Resilience, determination, teamwork and smiles.
This week's 'childrens rock climbing club's was quite wet and windy.
This gang of climbers showed me, yet again, how resilient and positive children can and should be.

We climbed, we sheltered, we explored and climbed some more.

Amazing.

Next week's is fully booked.
The week after has a few spaces.
