We believe in the power of sport and movement - the bring joy, grow people and strengthen communities. And we do it well!

Classes in Gymnastics, Cheerleading and Parkour, Herts UK. Our aim is to create a unique and inspiring experience where people of all ages and abilities can feel good about themselves. We want all our pupils to achieve success in an atmosphere designed for movement, health and fun. We offer a range of movement based sports and like to think we have something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for;

Traditional gymnastics offering floor and large apparatus work on bars, beam, vault and tumble track for all ages. We also have, by invitation, competitive gymnasts who compete local UK gymnastics events and displays. For more adventurous types, Parkour offers a blend of traditional freerunning, gymnastics-fused movements, flips and tricks. It is free-flowing, creative and adventurous. With our Sapphire Elite Cheerleaders, we offer both recreational and competitive teams. We also offer Tumble sessions, all on the floor or sprung tumble track, it’s all about dynamic movements and linking them all together.

With Day Camps, Open Gyms and Private coaching too, there's something for everyone. We look forward to welcoming you to the Affinity family.

Yes. There, I said it. It’s the most useless piece of coaching advice in gymnastics.

Do you agree?

On this day 20 years ago, the first gymnastics classes at Sheredes Primary took place.

Which became Sheredes Gymnastics Club, which became Affinity Gymnastics, then moved out to our own premises. Then developed parkour and merged with , then became Affinity Academy. Survived the pandemic, moved to bigger HQ and now have been added to the crew.

Well over 10,000 athletes taught and even more good times.

What’s your favourite Sheredes/Affinity/Sapphire memory?

I’ll go first…. Who remembers the gymfusion routine that had a power cut half way through?
